About Me
I'm a former minister now working at Ohio University. I used to blog about Christian spirituality, but that's not where I am in life. So here's a different blog. It's pretty scattered, because I like to think about a lot of things. "Jack of all subjects, master of none," you might say.
Places I've lived: Alaska, Oregon, Oklahoma, Idaho, Croatia, Tennessee, West Virginia, and now I'm in Athens, Ohio. I know people who have never gone anywhere over 500 miles from their home, and then just for vacation. Good for them; I cannot relate to that.
I have two wonderful sons who are grown and have chosen not to have me in their lives.
Born and raised in the Church of Christ—believed it, taught it, moved on from it.
